"What have you learned from your audience feedback?"

Audience feedback has been a vital step to learn on what we done well and what we needed to improve, without this feedback we wouldn't have progressed and developed our piece. The first audience feedback we received was a general questionnaire in of which helped us choose our genre and our target audience. This first feedback formed the base of our project and this was vital for development. Throughout the project we have received feedback from peers and our teachers, this feedback was precise and told us exactly what we needed to improve to get into the level 4 band. For example, after showing our ancillary texts to 3 people, 2 of those people said that everything was good, but the background needed to be changed. After recieving this feedback we then went on to change the background and improve our ancillary texts. During this process we learnt how important it was to mainly get feedback from your target audience as you are catering for them, but at times it is just as important to ask outside this age bracket and see what they think. This broadens the amount of new ideas and development tips we receive. Finally I posted our final products on facebook and asked friends and family to say if it looks professional. The comments show that people thought the editing was very good as it cuts in the beat. They also recognised what genre the music video was, Alternative Dance. One person said that some of the dancing in the party scene was unrealistic and it loses the mood of the scene. In conclusion, audience feedback throughout the process has helped us develop our project and achieve what we have achieved.
